Absolutely disgraceful and cruel practice where the wildlife and hunting dogs are subjected to injury and death. Where is the responsibility of the owners and licensees to protect the animals from injury? If cock fighting is illegal in Ontario - how is this different? Is there no other way to provide “scent” such as roadkill? What is even the purpose of this type of hunting? Are there no laws in Ontario that prohibit intentional and deliberate animal cruelty? Stop and disallow this terrible practice.
