While I agree housing is in crisis. And, Ontario has some of the toughest regulations involving development second to California the answer is not another form of extremism. Arbitrary decision-making is equally dangerous and potentially more damaging. There is no recourse to prevent permanent harm, guard against exploitation or provide for qualified consultation allowing for intelligent decision-making. Preservation of our democratic processes, transparency & integrity must remain intact. The exclusive nature of this proposal had failed to meet meet every standard both technically and ethically.
