I am strongly opposed to the re-opening of Ssonix on Keefer Road. The above mentioned site is not suited at all to store hazardous materials. First of all this site should have never been approved as it is close to a residential area and other businesses. Spills could easily enter the creek, and to a park in the residential area, and then on to Lake Ontario. If there were to be another explosion, the residence in this area do not have a second way out of the subdivision as firetrucks and police would block the main entrance to and from the subdivision.
