We represent Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company in connection with the lands municipally known as 1455-1457 McCowan Road and 41-47 Milner Avenue in the City of Toronto.

On behalf of our client, we attach a submission respecting the City of Toronto Official Plan Amendment 653 (ERO 019-7731). Due to its large file size, the submission has been broken into four parts:
1. A letter dated 9 February 2024 which is attached below as a supporting document;
2. Attachment A to the letter which is provided as a supporting link (via Dropbox);
3. Attachment B to the letter which is attached below as a supporting document; and
4. Attachment C to the letter which is attached below as a supporting document.

As detailed in the full submission, our client is requesting modifications to OPA 653 as it applies to its lands. In general, our client is submitting that the entirety of its lands be redesignated from Employment Area to permit a broader range of uses and that the Site and Area Specific Policy that applies to the lands be modified to reflect same. Details of the requested modifications and reasons for the modifications are found in the full submission.
