The proposal is not good and was not thought through enough. For one there is 2 schools on hwy.21 in dresden that these 700 trucks are going to be going by everyday. There is no crossing guards there and only flashing lights so many motorists have almost hit kids crossing on the crosswalk. One was hit luckily they are ok but with that many trucks a kid is bound to get hurt.
Two the creek that runs into the Sydenham will get pollution from run off which will end up in the lakes killing wildlife and aquatic life. As well as plants and trees.
Three the smell will be horrible. Just look at the one built in Watford. Residents can't have their windows open somedays because it is so bad.
Four the Ontario government has to realize there is more to ontario then Toronto. Use land close to your city. All the flying debris coming off the trucks to here is polluting our roads and ditches. Something always flies off those trucks.
It is not thought out and just another bullying attempt by these people
