As a resident of that area I would like to say absolutely not! Look at the cancer rate around ridge landfill? Do we want to bring those numbers around here?
As a former resident of the town of Dresden, I find the idea of a landfill/transfer station in such close proximity to a rural community with growth potential disgusting.

This will be too close to town. Dresden is expanding with new builds, downtown shopping and the night markets. The last thing we need is to have a town smelling of garbage when this community does so much to promote traffic to local businesses, events and schools.

No one in Dresden is interested in having Toronto's garbage less then a mile from town. We also don't need garbage transports driving through town to dump Toronto's problems here. What risks of contamination from dirty fill exists to our soil and water shed?

I live on the back side of this property on Tramway. How close can this be to actual residential houses!? Nobody notified me, do we get a buyout? Mise well take this to another small town. Stop trying to ruin Dresden. This will end up being a landfill for all your toronto trash....
I am concerned that the map does not show the creek that runs close to the property. If they are storing and treating that much soil and soil like materials what will this do to the water way.

I have grave concerns regarding this proposed project. Dresden already contends with the nauseous smell during tomato season as well as the bugs the tomato waste produces.
To have two faculties that both produce nasty smells one at either end of down would make it pretty miserable.

Our family is not interested in having this just outside of our town. An increase in transports by the schools is not safe. We have already had kids hit trying to cross the Main Street. This is just one reason. There are more, the risks outweigh the benefits for our town.

The town of Dresden Ontario is a farming community and we are against having this proposed site at 29831 Irish School Rd, Dresden, ON N0P 1M0 used as a transfer station / garbage dump or landfill
because this wont be a quiet / safe community any more..

The proposed site is too close to an urban area and I am vehemently opposed to operation of the proposed site. The proximity of the site to the town of Dresden will certainly have a negative impact on air quality and the quality of life for the residents of the town.

There are ditches on the east and south sides of this property, and a small town called Dresden to the south.
As a resident and land owner near this proposed site I strongly oppose this decision

So disappointing to see this!! Far too close to the town of Dresden!
This opens the door to a larger dump and eventually not just a transfer station but a full on dump for Toronto’s garbage. Disgusting that it is even thought.
