Again i state that the land at 29831 is not zoned as a LANDFILL it is zoned M2-365 at the Chatham/Kent office and was never zoned as a landfill back as far as Camden township before amalgamation . Chatham/Kent zoning code for landfill is LF not M2-365. Being that said this should be within the bill197 3.5 klms from any town housing and be treated as a new landfill application it is less than 1 klm. There is houses that are within 100 feet of the said lands with well water . There is no town water near the site in case of a fire,and the firemen are all volunteers not full time that don't have HazMat training . I also have pictures of Bald Eagles nesting on the Sydenham river i found 4 nests within this area and they hunt a territory of 38 sq klms. York1 has asked to dump water into Molleys Creek that runs to the Sydenham river and may flood the town with waste water in a heavy rain. And 19 bald Eagles dead in Prince Rupert Bc. cause of a landfill pond and waste from a landfill was in the news . So say no to the landfill Ministry of Environment department. Along with many other towns people that don't want York1 here this will effect our kids and pollute with all the trucks coming to this area. Climate Change from Diesel fuel trucks and equipment and york1 has said most of there recycling will not be from our area . To many schools the trucks will have to go by to get here. Our roads are not equipped to handle that many trucks. So please don't let this happen to our homes. York1 in there statement has said it will ship waste to a landfill in Michigan so in that said they don't need a landfill on this site.
