As a frequent birdwatcher at Windermere basin, member of Hamilton Naturalist Club and nature lover, I am concerned about the planned expansion of Triple M’s working hours. Noise, air and water pollution pose risk to avian, fish and mammals in our community. I appreciate the enterprise of metal recycling but hope that a balance can be found to allow periods of quiet and rest that all creatures require.
