As a resident of Dresden my family OPPOSES this land fill due to the many health and environmental concerns!!!!!
-Much too close of a proximity to our schools/daycares (we do not want our children's safety/health compromised!!!)
-Harm to the Sydenham River and the over 80 species of fish that live there
-Discharge from the land fill collection ponds directly into Molly's creek (which runs into the Sydenham river)
-Noise pollution
-Excess truck traffic on roads that are not regulated for the weight/amount of trucks York1 wants to pass through our small community
-Destruction of conservation areas that are home to protected and endangered species
PLEASE hear the concerns of our small community. Help us protect our precious children and all of the animals living here!
