The town of Dresden cannot handle the stress on their roadways of up to 700 trucks a day 24/7. The safety for our town would be non existent.
A landfill this size definitely does not have any business being 500 meters from where we all reside. The safety to the public school and high school this close in distance would be detrimental to everyone.
The safety of our water wells that have already been detected with methane and leachate that will spill into Mollys Creek and into the Sydenham is irresponsible.
Noise, air pollution and the harm to our wildlife, and species that reside in these waterways are in need of someone caring.
York 1 have not provided all the information to our town and Dresden residents were not able to respond to their first proposal as were not given a chance to. York 1 is using our small town for their gain bringing garbage where it doesn’t fit.
No one welcomes York 1. Help us stop this before our entire towns’ safety is at risk
