As a mother to a 9 month old boy, I dream of him growing up in Dresden the same way I was privileged too. This will not be a possibility if York1 opens their dump. I fear my son will not be able to safely ride his bike around town, or walk to school due to the large amount of traffic going through the Main Street. After reading about the great possibility of the dump contaminating our streams and rivers I fear he won’t be able to enjoy the beauty of the Sydenham like generations before him.
Please please keep this monstrosity out of our community for the sake of our children!
