I OPPOSE the Dresden Ontario landfill site. This is a beautiful little town and a landfill site just outside the town is an environmental hazard to the Watershed and the property values of Dresden. It will cost the taxpayers and municipality money due to strain, wear and tear on the infrastructures and change this small town and surrounding area into a traffic nightmare with noisy trucks passing through at all hours.
The environment seems to be such an important topic but this landfill goes against protecting the environment surrounding this small town.
No landfill should be this close to any small town.
PLEASE DO NOT allow this landfill proposal to proceed. There is unpopulated land in Ontario that would be better suited to this kind of facility.
We don’t want waste from other communities dumped on us!
