I would like to make a statement concerning the York1 trying to establish a dump near Dresden. I am against this company coming into a small community with materials that may damage wildlife, water wells, noise, smell and the peacefulness of Dresdens small community. With the amount of trucks they predict to travel to our community 24/7 - 7 days a week, our roads and highways will not withstand the punishment. Any asbestos or other materials will get into waterways and wells making it unsafe to use. The Dresden area residents have worked very hard to build the town as a place to visit with the Night Market, parks, arena, river, buy and build homes. The residents have many volunteers who plant flowers, plant trees, etc. to make the town look awesome. And they want to buy prime farmland to put their refuse on. A 50 year old dump does not have the same rules and regulations today. I am against this being approved. I think York1 came in trying to keep it quiet until the people of Dresden found out and are standing their ground. I am against this dump and the people of Dresden are against it coming to the community. I support NO DUMP IN DRESDEN!
