It seems absolutely everything surrounding this project points to the NEED FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT.
The facility to far too close to the town limits…bringing noise and light pollution
The facility is located on property that has fresh streams that lead into our river, placing many species at risk.
The facility is prepared to accept asbestos….exposing air to dangerous pollution….right next to town
The facility is being proposed without a traffic study….and it has been determined that 700 transport trucks will attend each and EVERY day 7 DAYS A WEEK
Please dismiss the York 1 proposal altogether…..or at the very LEAST insist on an ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
