I'm concerned about long term environmental damage. We need a full comprehensive environmental assessment completed for this proposed project to document our concerns. The proximity to residents, waterways, what affects this will have on the protected species in the area, impacts from drilling, what this will do to our water well quality and plans for usage of the aquifer. Our town thrives off of our agricultural land, which is doomed to be contaminated if York1 gets approval to proceed with this project. Land that is located in a flood plane, there is absolutely no reason why an environmental assessment should not be completed. Please listen to our concerns as well as surrounding communities and take action to protect our land and safety. Would you want this landfill in your own backyard?
