We are facing multiple crises environmentally and to reduce the decision-making authority of CAs makes no sense at all. They know more about our watersheds, wetlands and rivers than anyone in the province. Certainly more than a single Minister would.
This is not an example of collaboration, which is needed more than ever if we're to improve the planet's health. This ongoing power grab of the Ontario government is putting democracy at risk, is shameful and looks like a workaround to the Greenbelt scandal.
