Arnprior Aerospace Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (air)

This proposal is for an amendment to the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 2492-AWCKQ2 with Limited Operational Flexibility for Arnprior Aerospace Inc., a manufacturer of aerospace structural components, located at 107 Baskin Drive East in Arnprior, Ontario.

The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that discharge to the air include parts configuration, washing, sand blasting and other surface preparation activities, painting and other coating activities, curing, dipping, minor assembly, and other ancillary and support processes and activities

The amendment is to account for operating time changes for specific equipment contributing to noise emissions.

Emissions to the air from this facility include:

• nitrogen oxides
• hexavalent chromium
• particulate matter

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
