German Canadian Cultural Association Harmonie - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for German Canadian Cultural Association Harmonie for the existing and proposed sewage works to service a seasonal cottage/trailer park, located at 8521 Sideroad 20, in Belwood, Ontario.

The individual onsite wastewater systems will range in design flow between 425 litres per day to 2,000 litres per day, and will consist of thirty six (36) existing and proposed filter beds to service thirty five (35) cottages and trailer lots and the main clubhouse building. The total design flow of the property is 23,975 litres per day.

The proposed works include the installation of new septic tanks, and subsurface disposal beds. The Ministry may require effluent monitoring and may impose effluent limits.
