This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 8603-C4PFUP for Canadian Builders Hardware Manufacturing Inc., a facility that manufactures various architectural metal fittings, located at 71 Sheffield Street in North York, Ontario.
The sources at the facility include metal cutting and milling, welding, metal polishing, metal plating and coating, spray booth operation and a process boiler. This application is for the removal of a curing oven and the inclusion of a process boiler.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- nickel and nickel compounds
- chromium (IV) and chromium (IV) compounds
- total suspended particulate
- butyl acetate
- sodium aluminum fluoride
- nitrogen oxides
