This application is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for YORK1 Field Recycling Ltd. for the approval of sewage works servicing a waste processing site to be used for the recycling, processing and transfer of solid non-hazardous waste generated from residential, industrial, institutional and commercial sectors, including construction and demolition waste, inert materials including concrete, brick/block, asphalt and gravel, blue box recyclable materials, tires, and excess soil and rock for beneficial reuse.

The proposed sewage works will contain the following components:

  • stormwater conveyance perimeter swale
  • pond outlet (two-stage discharge system involving hickenbottom structure)
  • emergency overflow spillway
  • conveying culvert
  • oil-water separator (stormceptor)
