The changes to the site plan for ARA Licence No. 5738 were approved by the Director on April 21, 2026
The approval allows Dufferin Aggregates, a CRH Company (Dufferin) to increase the extraction area to include an additional 2.5 ha and change the sequence of extraction to incorporate the additional areas to be extracted.

The concerns were related to:
- Natural Environment
- Site Plan Revisions
- Groundwater quality and monitoring
- Source Water Protection
- Rehabilitation
The concerns were addressed by providing additional information and revisions to the site plan.

Public consultation opportunities
The proposed request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to the Township of Puslinch, County of Wellington, Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, Grand River Conservation Authority and landowners within 120m of the licence for comment.
Other Information
Dufferin, on behalf of University of Guelph, has also applied to extract below the water table in the additional extraction area. Please see ERO No. 025-0235 for details regarding the application to extract below the water table in additional areas on site.
