This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 1100-A2MJXX for Trimont Mfg. Inc., a facility that manufactures automotive interior panels located in the City of Toronto, Ontario.
The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that discharge to the air include:
- injection molding
- adhesive spraying
- curing
- paint touch up and repair
- front/rear door assembly
Emissions to the air from this facility include:
- hydrocarbons
- methyl ethyl ketone (2-butanone)
- ethylene-propylene-copolymer
- tris(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl) phosphite
- metallic compounds contained within paint pigments such as titanium oxide and chromium oxide
The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise). The Limited Operational Flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
