This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 2542-APGUC5 for Pastway Planing Ltd. for the operation of a lumber dimensioning and treatment facility, located in the Combermere, Ontario.
This application is to amend ECA No. 2542-APGUC5 to for the removal of treating fluid. The sources at the facility include two propane fired hot water boilers, two retorts, three storage tanks, three planers, one rotary dryer, one knife sharpening shop for the previously mentioned planers. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- particulate matter
- products of combustion such as nitrogen oxides
- volatile organic compounds such as formaldehyde and methanol
