This proposal is for a New Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for YORK1 Field Recycling Ltd., for the operation of a waste processing and recycling facility, located in the community of Nanticoke within Halimand County, Ontario.
This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including excess soil and wood waste processing, non-hazardous solid waste processing, outdoor waste storage, on-site vehicle traffic, and loading/unloading operations. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- suspended particulate matter
- acetone, benzene
- ethylene dibromide
- toluene
- trichloroethylene
- hexane
