A change to ARA Licence No. 5414, 19294, 55202 and 612781 was approved by the Director on August 14, 2026
The approval allows V.B. Sand & Gravel Ltd. to authorize an amalgamation of ARA licences 19294, 55202 and 612781 and to vary the number of tonnes of aggregate to be removed annually from a former total of 1,500,000 tonnes annually for the four amalgamated sites to 700,000 tonnes annually for amalgamated License No. 5414.

- Location of water wells

- Clarification on Importation of Excess soils for rehabilitation and Blending

- Confirmation of municipal zoning
- Confirmation of no additional setbacks for the amalgamated area
- Berm heights and vegetation of berms

- Distinguish pond area from total rehabilitated area

- Identify what will be done to outbuildings on site before surrender

The concerns were addressed by revisions to the final approved copy of conditions on the licence and by providing additional information.
