The changes to the site plan for ARA Licence No. 12000 were approved by the Director on April 20, 2026
The approval allows The Sarjeant Company Limited to:
- Relocate existing concrete block plant
- Import topsoil for resale
- Change the rehabilitation plan to bring the site back to original grade and change the end use to agriculture
- Import 12,003,200m3 to facilitate fill to grade rehabilitation

Application has been made by The Sarjeant Company Limited to amend the current site plan to allow:
- Relocate the existing concrete block plant on site.
- Import excess soil for blending and resale.
- Import woodchips, peatmoss, and compost for blending and resale.
- Import excess soils for rehabilitation.
- Revise the rehabilitation sequence.
- Revise the rehabilitation plan to restore the site to its original grade.
- Total excess soil importation of 12, 003, 200 cubic metres
Public consultation opportunities
The proposed request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to the Township of Oro-Medonte, Simcoe County and Landowners within 120 metres of the site, for comment.
