1094490 Ontario Limited - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval to establish a Stormwater Management Works system servicing an existing closed-loop aggregate wash plant facility located at 4695 Brock Road, in Uxbridge, Ontario.

The proposed sewage include an industrial process wastewater treatment facility, complete with an aggregate pit.

The existing wash plant system is operated as a closed-loop system in which water is recirculated between various ponds and the wash plant in a continuous cycle. Water is pumped from a holding pond through a pipe to the wash plant, where the aggregate material is washed. The fines from the aggregate include sand, silt and clay sized natural soil particles held in suspension with the process water from the wash plant.
