This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 4396-B5TQNE for Shell Canada OP Inc. and Shell Canada Limited as general partners for and on behalf of Shell Canada Products, a petroleum refinery located in the Township of St. Clair, Ontario.

This application is for modifications to Tank 60, the addition of a vegetable oils stream to Tank 60, and the addition of a new soybean oil pump.

The sources at the facility include storage tanks. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • soybean oil
  • canola oil
  • distillers corn oil
  • vegetable oil, and
  • noise
