This proposal is for an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (air) No. 5159-CJP5LX for VEI Contracting Inc., for the operation of mobile in-situ remediation techniques for the treatment of soil, groundwater, and sediment at various locations across Ontario.

The amendment application is for the addition of new in-situ remediation amendments.

Remedial amendments proposed includes:

  • acids,
  • aerobic biodegradation compounds,
  • anaerobic biodegradation compounds,
  • bioaugmentation compounds,
  • biopolymer slurries and soil modifiers,
  • catalysts and chelating agents,
  • caustics,
  • chemical oxidants,
  • chemical reductants,
  • metals immobilization compounds,
  • nutrients,
  • sorption and biodegradation compounds, and
  • surfactants
