The purpose of this application is to obtain a new Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) for Thank Recycle Inc. to allow for the operation of a waste transfer and processing facility to accept ferrous and non-ferrous metal waste from local companies and projects in Ontario.
The facility is located on 0.14 hectares of land. The function of the proposed facility is to accept and temporarily store ferrous and non-ferrous metals wastes from local companies and projects until transfer to an appropriate waste management facility is justified. Upon approval, the facility will have a maximum daily acceptance of 20 tonnes per day and will be able to store a maximum of 281 tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous waste.
The facility operates nine hours per day, six days per week.
