C.A.I. Inks Canada Ltd. - Environmental Compliance Approval (air)

This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 0188-A3RQKS for C.A.I. Inks Canada Ltd., a manufacture of liquid inks and general industrial office activities facility, located in Prescott, Ontario.

The application includes all sources at the facility including one baghouse dust collector, seven underground storage tanks, exhausts from the mill and potting area, retain room exhausts, manufacturing room general exhausts and natural gas-fired equipment.

Emissions to the atmosphere from this facility include:

• zinc
• heptane
• ethyl acetate
• n-propanol
• titanium dioxide

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The Limited Operational Flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
