Vari-Form Manufacturing Inc. Les Fabrications Vari-Form Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (air)

This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for Environmental Compliance Approvals (air & noise) No. 3509-A5VQV6 & 5619-AK9L2X for Vari-Form Inc., a facility that manufactures manual and robotic welding of metal parts to create parts assemblies, located in Strathroy, Ontario.

This proposal includes all emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that exhaust to the atmosphere including raw material receiving and storage, pressure sequence hydroforming, welding and finished product storage including the equipment and any other ancillary and support processes and activities. Emissions to the atmosphere from this facility include:

• nitrogen oxides
• manganese
• iron (metallic), and
• zinc oxide

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The Limited Operational Flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
