The application for consent 60-C-250796 was draft approved on July 16, 2026 subject to conditions.
The application was reviewed for consistency with the environmental policies of the Provincial Planning Statement (e.g. natural heritage, water quality protection). No public comments were received.
Conditions include a registered plan of survey.
The decision to approve the consent is consistent with the Provincial Planning Statement once conditions are met. This decision will not have a significant impact on the environment.
The applicants have two years to satisfy conditions of draft approval, otherwise approval will lapse. The approval can be appealed using the procedure outlined below. Notice to appeal the decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal must be filed with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on or before August 5, 2026.

Appeal Rights under the Planning Act
You can appeal all or part of this instrument to the appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) by submitting a notice of appeal to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. You have 20 days to begin the appeal process.

Proposed application 60-C-250796 is for the creation of one (1) new lot.
The purpose of proposed application 60-C-250796 is to create a new lot. The new lot will have approximately 800 metres of frontage, 1600 metres of depth, and 128 hectares in size. There are two existing dwellings and a barn on the proposed new lot.
The retained lot will have approximately 1300 metres of frontage, 1990 metres of depth, and 259 hectares in size. There is an existing dwelling and barn on the retained lot. Both properties have septic systems and wells and are currently used for agricultural use.
The effect of creating this new lot will be to allow for existing uses to remain in place while having separate title to the properties, to allow for the properties to be transferrable in the future
