Clean Soils Services Ltd. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Industrial Sewage) for Clean Soils Services Ltd. This application is for the collection, transmission and disposal of stormwater runoff at Clean Soils Services Ltd's waste processing/transfer facility located at 45 Comstock Road, Toronto, Ontario.

The proposed site modification involves the installation of two large underground tanks and a Jellyfish Filter (Model JF8-6-2) at the rear of the property. These tanks are designed to provide (i) stormwater storage capacity to meet the City of Toronto’s flow control and water balance requirements, and (ii) enhanced containment to prevent stormwater contamination.

Stormwater from the site will be directed to a southern ditch adjacent to the CN Rail Spur line ultimately discharging to the City of Toronto’s combined sewer.
