Ontario Culvert and Metal Products Limited - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval to construct an industrial building, parking lot and stormwater management outlet immediately adjacent to a wetland, for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of stormwater run-off from the industrial site at 630 Weber Street North, City of Waterloo, Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Ontario.

The proposed stormwater management plan is composed of rooftop, and parking lot storage, with an orifice plate, and oil/grit separator for quality and quantity control.

The parking lot will outlet into the existing sewer at Conrad Place. The roof drainage is divided into four sections. The largest portion will be connected to the existing infrastructure and directed to Conrad Place through the sewer system. A second portion will discharge into an underground infiltration gallery. The final two portions will be directed to the north and south of the wetland.
