Metcalfe Osgoode Seniors Non-Profit Housing - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for an Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for the replacement of a portion of the existing sewage works which services the Stanley Apartments Senior Residence located at 2761 8th Line Road, in the village of Metcalfe, within the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

The proposed alterations are intended to address the operational issues of the existing sewage system. The existing sewage works along with the proposed system alterations consist of an on-site Class 4 septic tank, a balancing tank, equipped with a time-operated alternating duplex pumping system, a removable effluent filter, two concrete distribution boxes, and two leaching beds with distribution piping. The system is designed for a daily sanitary sewage flow of 11,350 liters per day.
