GP Wood Products North ULC, as general partner for and on behalf of GP North Woods LP - Environmental Compliance Approval (air)

This proposal is for an amendment to the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 8225-DQZRFP for GP Wood Products North ULC, as general partner for and on behalf of GP North Woods LP, a waferboard manufacturing facility located in the Town of Englehart, Ontario.

The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that discharge to the air include debarking, conditioning, flaking, drying, pressing, cutting, painting, baghouses, process and non-process sources of combustion.

The amendment includes replacement of a baghouse and the proposed changes for the greened modernization.

Emissions to the air from this facility include:

• styrene
• nitrogen oxides, and
• methane diphenyl diisocyanate

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The Limited Operational Flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
