Application has been made by SASE Aggregates Ltd. to amend the current site plan for ARA Licence No. 6684 to change the final rehabilitated landform and import excess soil. 1,600,000 cubic metres of excess soil will be imported to facilitate the changes to the final rehabilitation. The final land use will change from grassland to agricultural. The final rehabilitation will be integrated with that of adjacent site, ARA Licence No. 625747.
Application has been made by SASE Aggregates Ltd. to amend the current site plan for ARA Licence No. 625747 to change the final rehabilitation and import excess soil. 3,665,000 cubic metres of excess soil will be imported to facilitate the changes to the final rehabilitated landform. The final land use will change from grassland to agricultural. The final rehabilitation will be integrated with that of adjacent site, ARA Licence No. 6684.
Public consultation opportunities
The proposal requests for the licences are being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources. Additionally, notification of the applications have been forwarded to the Township of Uxbridge, the Region of Durham, and private landowners within 120m of the Licence boundary, for comment.
