Description of instrument
Proposal has been made by Brisbin Sand & Gravel Limited to vary a condition of the current licence to authorize an increase in the number of tonnes of aggregate to be removed in a calendar year. The current licence condition states that “It is a condition of this licence that no more than 50,000 tonnes of material shall be removed in any one calendar year”. Brisbin Sand & Gravel Limited has requested that the tonnage limit be increased to 100,000 tonnes annually.
This increase has been requested by the licensee to address the higher demand for aggregates in the area.

Brisbin Sand & Gravel Limited operates this site under the authority of (Licence # 3469) under the Aggregate Resources Act.
