On June 30, 2020 the ministry issued an exploration permit located approximately PR-20-000047 to Bounty Gold Corp. for early exploration located approximately 60 kilometres NW of Wabauskang Lake First Nation., in the Todd Township District of Kenora, North West Region
The exploration permit was issued once all Indigenous communities and the public had the opportunity to provide comment or raise their concerns. The issued exploration permit is valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue.
This permit will allow the Bounty Gold Corp., to undertake these early exploration activities: -
- drilling (Assembled Weight (greater than 150kg)
- mechanized Stripping (greater than 100m2 in 200 metre radius)
- pitting and Trenching of Bedrock (greater than 3m3 in 200 metre radius)
- plan activities

Bounty Gold Corp. has submitted an application on the claims listed below for an exploration permit as required under the Mining Act for the following early exploration activities:
- mechanized drilling
- mechanized stripping
- pitting and trenching of bedrock
- plan Activities
This notice is provided to receive comments that can be considered in the decision-making process prior to the issuance of an exploration permit.
An Exploration Permit does not relieve the proponent from compliance with any other requirements that are set out under the Mining Act or any other Act. All activities included in the Exploration Permit proposal must be carried out in compliance with Ontario Regulation 308/12 and the Provincial Standards for Early Exploration. The Exploration Permit duration will be up to 3 years.
