A new Environmental Compliance Approval has been granted (industrial sewage) for 2656405 Ontario Inc. to establish a stormwater management (SWM) facility on-site to provide stormwater quantity and quality control for the proposed development area (0.51ha) located at the south end of the site.
The proposed industrial sewage works will include a private SWM facility which includes six flow control roof drains (FCRD) and an oil grit separator (OGS) unit to service the proposed development.
The proposed grading plan for the impacted area of the site directs the run-off from the proposed parking, storage and landscaped areas to a series of catchbasin structures which is then directed to the oil grit separator for treatment. The run-off from the building addition and the oil grit separator is then discharged to the existing storm sewer within Oriole Parkway East right-of-way via a proposed 525 mm diameter storm sewer extension.
