The change to the licence for Aggregate Resources Act(ARA) Licence No. 5606 was approved by the Divisional Delivery Branch Director on March 1st, 2023.
The approval allows Ross Roth Sand & Gravel Inc. to change the conditions on the current licence to authorize an increase in the annual tonnage limit for the site to 250,000 tonnes. The current annual tonnage limit for this site as stated on the licence is 150,000 tonnes. This increase addresses the higher demand for aggregates in the area.

Five comments were received in response to the Environmental Registry of Ontario notice.
Seven comments were received through the ARA consultation process.
The concerns were related to:
- dust
- road safety
- truck speed
The concerns were addressed by the proponent through providing additional information and changes to the site plan.
