This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site), to be issued to Spirit Bay Harbour Inc., located at 1048 Cedar Beach Road in the Town of Bracebridge, for the use and operation of a waste disposal site with a total site area of 0.472 hectares, to be used for processing solid non-hazardous waste including domestic bagged garbage and bagged recyclables, up to a maximum of 20 tonnes per day.

The total amount of waste stored at the site will not exceed 20 tonnes at any time.

The waste disposal site is to serve the patrons of Spirit Bay Harbour marina only. The hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Sunday.

Given the low volumes, impacts to the environment are not anticipated.
