There should be no development on the Greenbelt. There are currently no municipal services or infrastructure on the Greenbelt such as sewers, roads, internet, or garbage pick-up.

I strongly oppose Bill 66. Please consider alternative programs to incentivize businesses to establish in Ontario. Opening up Ontario's natural and agricultural resources is shortsighted and dangerous to our near future health and financial sustainability.

By eliminating the Toxics Reduction Act and allowing for development under Schedule 10 of Bill 66 that ignores important environmental measures, these proposals eliminate the regulations that are meant to protect the very people whom these government claims to be “for”.

There is no business development that could possibly justify putting any of these systems at risk.

I do not want Bill 66 to remove the protection of the Planning Act and Provincial Policy Statements for significant built heritage resources and significant cultural landscapes anywhere in the province.
I am deeply concerned that waterways, farmlands, and natural lands are threatened by development and environmental deregulation. This is not a constructive, healthy direction for our province.
