It is completely wrong to hint in the spring. There is no way to tell the sex of the bear. Cubs could starve to death. Please do not allow this inhuman and cruel hunt.

The spring hunt should be abolished, if not limit it to 1-30 June with no baiting afterwards. Too many sow's are being misidentified resulting in orphaned cubs. Its not worth the risk.

No to any spring bear hunt which results in the deaths of mother bears and orphans many cubs. It is rescue groups that have to deal with the fallout, not .the government which has a dismal record re funding wildlife care and rehabilitation program. Lire davantage

There is nothing about baiting an animal that is sustainable or actually hunting. This is another dispicable act by the Ontario PC's to undermine our environmental ecology here in Ontario.

Please do not allow hunting of black bears. This is inhumane, cruel and not in keeping with Ontarian and Canadian values. Non-residents should absolutely NOT be allowed to hunt and even residents should be kept far away from bears. Lire davantage
