I find this proposal is counter productive to the situation the world is currently living.
We are living in a climate crisis when we're trying to reduce emissions.
Removing bike lanes is absolutely ridiculous in this climate.
Active transportation such as biking or walking, helps to reduce emissions.
Why would we go backwards? It makes no sense at all.
It is nonsensical to remove bike lanes in any city. The overreach proposed by this government is the opposite of what they claim to want from the government.
Is the government so flush with money (withholding federal health care money during a pandemic provably helped) that they want to spend money for resurfacing?
It's such bad policy.
