Nothing in this bill is in the interests of the people of Ontario. We need municipalities to be allowed to make their own decisions about infrastructure based on their constituents and studies. This is overreach obviously directed at Toronto. Also it seems the main issue of bike lanes (which again it's ridiculous that the premier is making his priority when the state of healthcare and education in this province is crumbling, and would be a better use of money that would be wasted with the proposed bill) is only a distraction for an attempt to push through highway development with less regulation and give the government power to seize land. This is all being pushed through quickly with little time for public feedback and no time for studies (though bike lanes were installed following studies on traffic and safety at the expense of municipalities).
In short this bill is against the interests of public safety and should not be passed.
