I am extremely concerned about the absurd reluctance of politicians to do what the market itself will never do, which is to impose a price on carbon. We need to pay this price, but we are fixing our grandkids and their kids to do it. Shame on us. We must impose that price, yesterday. We should have done so decades ago.
If you are going to tear down previously arranged solutions like this, and destroy the public and private investments already made in it, how will you compensate people, what what better solutions to the carbon state of emergency do you have?
