Removing already completed and installed bike lanes, which have proven to reduce congestion AND emissions, is not something we should entertain or support.
This will be costly to tax payers, not decreases gridlock (of which construction is the main culprit) and make the roadways even more unsafe then they already are for cyclists and other pedestrian commuters (i.e. scooters).
I urge reconsideration of Bill 212 and urge the provincial government to not take any action on removing bike lanes, I would even appreciate installing more.
