I'm a graduate student in UofT's Computer Science program. I don't have the means, nor do I want to drive a car, whether we had 2 or 3 lanes of traffic on Young, Bloor or University. I bike 20 minutes to school every day, and use those 3 roads and their bike lanes to stay safe. I have seen cars kill cyclists because they didn't have safe bike lanes, and removing these key bike lanes will only marginally improve car traffic at the cost of putting thousands of resident's lives in jeopardy, not to mention how the entire food delivery business will suffer.
